Our world seems to be spiraling out of control from a moral standpoint. Are we Christians helpless to influence others back toward Godly principles? Since God is the ultimate standard of truth, His gospel, “good news” is the way to bring our family, neighbors, and friends back to relationship with our holy God. Acts 2:38,39 shows us how. God showed his love for us by sending Jesus to die for our sins, rising again from the dead and interceding for us in heaven. Now we can have the promised Holy Spirit live in us to help us come to spiritual maturity and in turn win others to Jesus. Our job is to pass this promise to not only our sons and daughters, but to other relatives, friends and even strangers from all walks of life. May God grant us the peace, words and gumption to give testimony of His perfect truth.
