You are invited! Mom to Mom is a place where women can be educated, encouraged, and equipped for the most important job in
all the world—parenting. Through practical, faith-based teaching on parenting and supportive interaction in small groups, we wish to foster growth not only in our parenting skills but also in our wholeness as women—intellectually, relationally, and spiritually.
Each Mom to Mom meeting includes a lecture or presentation on a topic pertinent to our lives as moms, followed by small group discussion with a mentor mom. This is a safe place to discuss how the topic applies to our own families, to share the joys and frustrations of motherhood, and to explore the promises and purposes God gives to each of us as moms. In January, we will continue the book Mom to Mom Growing Together: Growing a Child = Growing a Mom by Linda Schultz Anderson. Topics for the winter/spring session include: understanding, loving, and seeing potential in our children; practical perspectives on discipline; sibling relationships; family problem-solving; choices and consequences for parents and children.
Childcare with age-appropriate programs for infants through kindergarten is provided for the moms who register for the morning session. In-arms infants are warmly welcomed in both morning and evening sessions.
The morning session fee is $120 ($100 for registration by Dec. 31st). The evening session is $50 ($40 by Dec. 31st). Add $20 if you don’t have the Growing Together book. To register, please fill out the attached form and send it with your registration fee to the address indicated. Register soon before classes and childcare rooms are full!
