Fall Retreat

September 10-12 is our annual NEDA  Women's Retreat. Registrations have been sent in, but if you'd like to come up for the day on Saturday it's not too late. Contact the camp or church office.

Small Groups

We're looking to start up at least one women's small group this fall, likely starting in October. Below are some links to possible studies. Contact either Dawn Provost or the church office if you're interested in joining!

About

Women's Ministries seeks to glorify God by providing opportunities for women to be encouraged in their Christian walk, reaching out together to our community with the Good News of the Gospel, sponsoring projects locally in support of our missionaries all over the world, and providing a place for women to come together, encourage one another, and build deep, lasting friendships.
A primary focus of Women's Ministries is outreach -- to provide a place where women can bring friends and family members to meet and to see the body of Christ in action. To this end, we provide a variety of events -- some explicitly evangelistic and others low-key, where people can come and hear about Jesus and see how He affects His followers' lives.
To this end, we have a variety of activities throughout the year:

Drop-ins are held on Friday evenings and are informal gatherings held at various homes. We get together for all sorts of reasons, whether to just hang and chat, play games, pamper ourselves, or do some crafts.

PRAYS cards are found in the pew backs, and are pink cards on which you write prayer requests. Once a month they are collected, and you pick up someone else’s card. You then have the month to pray for them, or you can choose to meet with them/get little gifts for them/do nice things for them.

Craft Workshops are done a few times a year. In the past we’ve had knitting/sewing, scrap booking, quilting, and boxwood Christmas centerpieces, among other things.

Retreats: We always participate in the fall District retreat for our denomination in September, held at Camp Spofford in Spofford, NH. We also have had day-long retreats here at the church. Watch the bulletin and email for additional opportunities to attend local retreats, especially in October, April, and July.

Book Club meetings are not regularly scheduled, but rather meet whenever you have read an interesting book that you would like to discuss with other women. Let the office know, and they can help schedule a date and advertise the book!

Showers are held for women who are engaged or celebrating the birth of their first child at Faith EFC.

Newcomers’ Teas are held at once a year. We get together and play fun games, sample a wide variety of teas, and generally just have a good time getting to know each other.

Moms & Tots Playgroup meets at Faith EFC two mornings a month. Contact the church office for more specific dates and details.
