About Small Groups
As a part of the larger community of believers, small groups play a very important part in the vitality of the church body. Small group participants often experience increased spiritual growth and a deep community life that God intends for His church. Small groups are made up of about 6-14 people who meet weekly or bi-weekly for sharing, study, and prayer. Small groups serve as the primary way to connect with others, not only here at FEFC, but also in the community.

What is the purpose of small groups?
Relationships! Ultimately, FEFC Small Groups exist to produce disciples through significant relationships. The sole purpose for small groups is building relationships with one another in order that we can better encourage and spur each other on to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Who chooses the small groups study?
Each small group decides what Bible-based study they would like to study and what medium they would like to present the study (Bible, DVD,
book, etc).
Where and when do small groups meet?
Groups meet mostly in homes but have the freedom to meet wherever is convenient. The group itself decides on the time and length of their meeting and when to start. However, most of our small groups have a break in the summer and start up again in September and October.
Many of our groups are already taken advantage of RightNow Media, the exciting Christian video library.
